Responsible for maintaining liaison with Joint staff, know joint staff processes and respond to short notice taskers to the Joint Staff. Draft and coordinate MDA responses to Joint Staff Action Process taskings from the Joint Staff. Draft and coordinate MDA responses to Joint Staff requests for information and requests for analysis. Coordinate and provide Joint Staff with Missile Defense Agency technical assessment for contingency planning and operations. Coordinate MDA response to Joint Policy. Coordinate MDA's technical assessment in response to Joint Deployment Planning of Ballistic Missile Defense Capability. Draft information papers to support MDA senior leader visits to the Joint Staff.

Mechanical/Structural Design Engineer

Able to perform mechanical/structural design task for the Space Launch System (SLS) Core Stage elements. Prepare conceptual and preliminary 3-D CAD models using Pro/E software and complete the design tasks through final engineering release in Windchill. Previous experience on NASA and/or Launch Vehicle design preferred.

Mechanical/Structural/Strength/Buckling Engineer

Able to perform mechanical/structural strength/buckling analysis task for the Space Launch System (SLS) Core Stage elements. Analyze conceptual and preliminary structural designs using NASTRAN/PATRAN/FeMAP software. Prepare final analysis reports in support of engineering release. Previous experience on NASA and/or Launch Vehicle design preferred.

Mechanical/Structural Fracture Engineer

Able to perform mechanical/structural fracture analysis task for the Space Launch System (SLS) Core Stage elements. Analyze conceptual and preliminary structural designs using NASGRO/FLAGO software. Prepare final analysis reports in support of engineering release. Previous experience on NASA and/or Launch Vehicle design preferred.

Mechanical/Structural Thermal Engineer

Able to perform mechanical/structural thermal analysis task for the Space Launch System (SLS) Core Stage elements. Analyze conceptual and preliminary structural designs using Thermal Desktop software. Prepare final analysis reports in support of engineering release. Previous experience on NASA and/or Launch Vehicle design preferred.

Intermediate Software Engineer

Support Test Case (TC) development to include processing and review of Integrated Threat Packages (ITP), review of TC requirement documents (i.e. Test Case Description Documents (TCDD, etc), generation of Test Case Development Matrix (TCDM) from TC requirement documents, TC execution, and TC verification to TC requirements. Support TC integration and checkout, support Test Event planning, document process and procedures, and troubleshoot anomalies and issues identified during TC development and integration.

Be able to communicate requirements and design specifications to allow the developer to enhance and/or develop user-friendly interfaces to support a highly flexible and rapid test case development capability for the Ground Test (GT) and War-game and Exercises (WGE). Provide input to requirements and design specifications to allow development of tool(s) to support a quick look capability for test case quality checks (test case design meets test case requirements) prior to releasing test case for use.

Candidate should have at least 6 years of experience working with or supporting systems engineering and analysis efforts of DoD weapon systems especially missile defense systems. Applicant should have a good understanding of missile defense systems and a working knowledge of software programming concepts. Applicant should have a BS in science or engineering. The candidate must have good interpersonal skills and strong communications skills, both written and verbal. Applicant should also have good problem solving skills taking into account cause and effect relationships and the ability to develop various courses of action. The candidate must be able to work independently with little supervision. The applicant must possess and maintain a minimum of a SECRET clearance for this effort.

Technical Writer

NASA experience, who has both powerpoint and graphic experience.

Signature Analysis

Able to perform detailed Infrared (IR) and Radar Cross Section (RCS) Signature analysis across all bands for sensors and kill vehicles, truth and perceived, to support the BMDS Digital and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) test frameworks for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This analysis would entail a detail understanding of Environmental Models and their impact on perceived signatures as applied during a test and the effect(s) both singularly and cumulative of the signature presented to any given sensor (ins vs outs).

Provide requirements and design specifications to allow development of tool(s) to automate the analysis and report processes to quickly identify issues prior to supporting any Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) test event.
